Our Mission
NeXXgen STEM is a non-profit organization aimed at inspiring females to pursue their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Our organization connects 11th and 12th-grade girls with talent in STEM to middle school girls across Pennsylvania-providing young students with personal role models that empower them to follow their passions and overcome biases.
We strive to fuel a passion for learning and discovery in girls, supporting them as they change the world and redefine what it means to be female.
Empowering girls in STEM
Mentorship
Mentorship has the power to change the persisting belief that success in STEM professions is exclusive to men. By exposing girls to strong, female role models in these fields, STEM occupations will seem increasingly attainable and attractive to young women.

The self-confidence, communication skills, and leadership qualities that result from mentorship prepare young girls not only to enter the workforce but to lead, improve, and transform it.
Tutoring
To increase female participation in STEM fields in the future, we must ensure that students have the resources and support to succeed in STEM classes today. Through tutoring, we aid students with their course work in STEM subjects- making the material engaging and suited for each student's unique learning style.

We want to prove to girls that they are fully capable of excelling in STEM subjects and that doing so can be fun!

Advocacy
In addition to mentorship and tutoring at the individual level, we work on the national level to build awareness for gender equity in STEM.

Through community events, fundraisers, and speakers (both virtual and live) we aim to increase awareness, knowledge, and support for our cause and inspire necessary change.
